Professional Background
With a longstanding appreciation for both business and technology, Ryan was drawn to the legal profession as a way to help innovative companies navigate evolving legal requirements. After graduating from law school, he completed a prestigious two-year judicial clerkship with the Second Judicial District Court of Nevada, gaining valuable insight into judicial decision-making.
Unlike many attorneys who practice business law without direct industry experience, Ryan took a different path. Before founding his legal practice, he worked in the software industry at Fortune 500 and publicly traded companies, gaining firsthand knowledge of the challenges tech businesses face. He also holds an MBA, further aligning his legal approach with real-world business strategy. This combined background shaped his belief that effective legal counsel must be practical, business-focused, and technically informed.
In 2007, Ryan became a licensed attorney in Colorado and later founded Business and Technology Legal Group with a clear mission: to provide sophisticated legal guidance that truly addresses the practical needs of modern businesses.
